4th and 5th Grade Field Day

This year's 4/5th grade Field Day will be held at the Eagle Stadium on June 7, 2016. Tshirts are offered for this exciting event and are $6. Tshirt orders are due to Ms. Johnson by Wednesday, May 18, 2016.

Hudsonville Eagle 5K

Running Club Celebration Breakfast!

This morning we celebrated the end of our Running Club morning practices with a Pancake Breakfast!! All the kids have worked so hard both training on their own and during our practices together. Collectively, the kids ran 590 Miles! This is just over 3 times across the state of Michigan!!! The Running Club will culminate with the Hudsonville 5K this Saturday, March 26. We wish all our runner good luck!!

We are so thankful for all the amazing moms and dads who volunteered to help make our pancakes, donate pancake mix, syrup, sausages, LOTS of fruit, waters, oranges juices and supplies! We could not have had such a delicious celebration without you!!!
A special thanks goes out to Jen Fields, Heather Lobbozoo, Angie Featherly, Randy Buist, Alan Finnie, Rebecca Steiginga, Michelle Sadler, Sharon Diepenhorst and Katie Terpstra for your help this morning! You guys rock!!!!

Jump Rope for Heart!

I am proud to say that Bauer Elementary raised $8759.75 this year for the American Heart Assocation! This is $3000 more than last year, and is the highest amount in many years....possibly ever!  This is truly a testament to the caring families we have and loving community we create here at Bauer.  :-)

Here are some statistics:

*Total donated: $8759.75

*Winning Classroom: 4th Grade - Mrs. Chatfield $1284.  They will receive  a "free choice" day in PE!!

*Highest Fundraiser - Nadia Buist -  $289!
